Wow what a month!!!  This month started off with me leaving on the 3rd of October to go home to Utah.  It was great to be with my family watching conference and being spiritually fed.  It was an emotional roller coaster being down there.  I spent a lot of time with Katie and was so happy to meet her new baby Natalie.  It was fun to shop and just be girls.  I missed Shane like crazy and he felt the same way.  I spent time with Jonathan and a lot of prayers headed his way and to Brandy.  Enough said there.  I was so happy when Shane got down there and was more excited when we landed in Calgary Sunday night the 19th.  I think the Christmas trip will be better for us!

Dinner time

I am waiting for Shane to get home from taking a quiz at the university. He was supposed to be home like 20 minutes ago, but couldn't find the drop off box. I am happy he found it and is coming home. I made BBQ chicken, mashed potatoes, and corn for dinner tonight. It's fun cooking, I just never have the time. The weeks are just flying by! I am going to be in Utah in 1 week and 2 days!!! I am really excited! My new job is going well. I am playing catch up like no other from the last girl who was incharge. Welcome to how it will be when I get back to work in about a month. Shane is doing well in school. He tells me how he hates school, and yet he does so well in it. 2 more years and he will be done. He is taking an economics class. I feel bad for him. I HATE economics classes (he does too now) :)

1st Blog

So here we are close to 5 months into our marriage and I am starting a blog for us.  Shane and I were married on May 9th in the Salt Lake Temple.  We went on our honeymoon to Jamaica and it was a BLAST!  We moved straight to Canada after that.  Shane worked for Dynastream innovations while I sat at home for a bit waiting for a work visa to come in.  I was hired at Earls Dalhousie a restaurant here in town.  Shane is now going to school at the University of Calgary working on his software engineering degree.  I am the office leader at Earls, and I also serve.  I am eagerly anticipating the day that I get to go back to school :(  I am planning on being a nurse.  We are seeing where life takes us.  We love being together and have too much fun for our own good!  That's a little about us.
